Virgo
i was the servant in the home of the queen. She was unexpectedly cruel to me and I was very sad. One night we heard a loud noise and ran outside to see a bright light falling from the sky. What was it? At first I imagined it was a star falling but then as it neared I could see it was the outline of an old woman, like a constellation.
It hit the ground in a sandy spot and buried itself deep in the ground. The earth shuddered and this was the end of all things.
I ran to the house and, because I was a servant in the house, even as the world ended, I packed only what was second best or of no use. I took my sleeping bag and vegetables that were wilted. I took some water and extra warm clothes. The queen inspected my bag and then dismissed me.
I ran to the trailer park. It was an awesome trailer park way out in the boonies. As I ran I met others and we gathered in a park for a night's rest.
As the dark came down we were frightened to see a male lion covered in dust carrying a lion cub in his mouth. The lion was enraged because the cub was dead. I ran from the area trying to find safety from the stalking lion. I saw the mother lion laboring to birth another dead cub.
I ran and finally reached the trailer park. It had a pool, sites for your r.v. and rooms for rent. It was in the hills. As I came in I relaxed a little. This was a good safe place to wait for the world to end.
It was ending. I looked over the edge of the bridge into the pond below and saw 7 turtles floating lifelessly in the water. I saw dead chicks and the hens weeping.
