Migration Dream and a Baby

The dream last night had Dennis, me, the boys, and a baby moving into a new unknown house in a new unknown city.

It turns out that in this city each night the animals migrate from a grassy spot down slope to a grassy spot up in the hills and the path of the migration is through our yard.

The hour comes and we are in the house looking out across the yard to the barn and the animals start coming. A few at first then more and more till it's like a flood of animals. They are pressing up against the sliding glass doors and the windows. Rhinoceros, elephants, wolves, sheep, all of them. I can see their gray hides pressed tight to the glass and I am seriously worried about the glass breaking.

When they finally clear the boys and Dennis go out in the yard heading to the barn. The boys are bare chested and bare foot and I am full of fear for their safety. Anything could happen! There is a wolf on the barn roof.

Now about the baby. It turns out that no one changed that poor baby for a very long time. I am pulling off his crusty shitty pants and seeing horrible sores. The baby was so kind and patient. He wasn't angry or upset, just resigned. I made a hot bath and soaked the rest of the clothes and shit of the baby and wrapped him up warm and dry and hugged him so hard. We were going somewhere then, me the baby and the boys.

There was a map in my dream and a newspaper. Contrary to previous lucid dreaming reports, I could read both. I was looking at the map of the animal migration and they were going up to Crater Lake. Someone said where is Crater Lake and I looked at the map and found the spot.

Then there was a story of how the millionaires were moving into this town and ruining it. The postman had done his route for many years. He was 72 and still delivering the mail. But the new millionaires were making things very hard for him. He could barely keep up with all the extra trouble they brought. It was a very sad story in the newspaper.
