Castles Built on Sand

Last night I dreamed I was traveling alone in strange lands.   I came to a trendy hotel and they led me to their trendiest accommodations. It was a separate suite though it was shared. I was given the ground floor and there was a couple checking out of the upstairs.  I was glad they were leaving because my bed for the night was out in the open and the stairway to their room ran down into my room. My room had a living area , kitchen, dining area and bed area. Part of the trendiness was that there were no closets just low chairs everywhere so you could drape your beautiful clothing over them.

There were walls of windows and one wall faced a famous local sight, the castle built on a hill of sand.  The sand was stabilized a little by matted green grass but you could clearly see that it was a very tall hill of sand.  It was a castle like construction too,  stone walls, many stories, flags flying from the towers.

My lover lived in the castle with his family.  He drove down to see me in his convertible and walked up to the door.

But just then everything fell apart!  His wife found out! The sand started spilling off the mountain and King Kong stood up from behind the hill, snapped off a tower and took a bite.

Walking on a Cloudy Day Dream

In my dream, I went out walking one morning. I wasn't really fully prepared, I had on rubber flip flops, but my real shoes were in my purse. I had the newspaper because I had been reading it and there were a few very interesting events going on in the big city.   One was a tiny sword show which included a silver cutlass. Cracked Ipad, 280Z, and Brewery Parties

I n my dream we moved back into a party house that I used to go to in Riverside many years ago (though not really). The house was like 4 stories tall  and very old and partially dilapidated. I remembered from the past (dreams and life) that the upper stories were rooms and rooms of dusty lives left right up to the moment they were abandoned. You could walk through them like a museum spying on other peoples lives. But the floors and stairs were old and unstable, it was very dangerous to walk those hallways but so interesting that you had to walk them. The ground floor was the one we lived on the most. The front half was a huge living room/dining room. It was kind of like a furniture store with couches, tables, and chairs scattered everywhere. There were dining tables and chairs lined up so that at least 50 people could all eat at once.
